We've done the work for you and each issue of this eNewsletter will highlight a sample itinerary that you can do with your group. What's even better is that we offer "One Stop" shopping - book a trip through our admissions counter and we will handle getting your group tickets to the other attractions and events, and provide maps to your drivers to get you from point to point!

Planes, Trains and Automobiles: June 23 - 25
This sample itinerary offers a taste of our Planes, Trains and Automobiles!
Enjoy visits to the Corvette Museum and Plant, Historic Railpark & Train Museum, Aviation Heritage Park and the crown jewel of this sample trip - the annual AHP Hangar Party.
Sample Itinerary - Day 1
Begin your trip on Thursday, June 23 with a guided tour of the GM Corvette Assembly Plant.
Following the tour, venture across the street for lunch in the Corvette Cafe and a VIP Tour of the Corvette Museum. Museum members receive a free tour, and others can enjoy our $6 Club Group Rate. Add on souvenir lanyards and badges for your group for only $3 per person.
After lunch, venture just up the street three miles to the restored 1925 L&N Depot, home to the Historic Railpark and Train Museum. The two-story interactive museum has one of the region's largest model railroad displays. Don't miss a guided tour of the five railcars outside, too!
Swing by beautiful Fountain Square Park for some shopping. If you have time, you might want to try an underground boat tour at Lost River Cave. Then freshen up at the hotel before venturing 10 miles west to Federal Grove B&B for a true southern, family-style meal!
Sample Itinerary - Day 2
Friday takes you north to the Bardstown area where you will enjoy a tour and tastings at the Jim Beam American Outpost (1-1/2 hour travel time from Bowling Green).
Afterwards, travel 30 minutes south and have a delicious lunch on your own at Old Talbott Tavern in Bardstown before venturing another 12 miles to New Haven for a 1.5 hour train excursion, tour of the Kentucky Railway Museum, outdoor musical featuring the Southern Belles of Stephen Foster and delicious dinner at the Sherwood Inn ($48 per person, includes train, musical and dinner. 30 person min., 48 person max.).
Sample Itinerary - Day 3
What's a trip without shopping? Don't miss Flea Land, Kentucky's largest indoor Flea Market, only open on the weekends offering an array of cool goods. While you are out Three Springs Road, be sure to swing by Aviation Heritage Park to check out their collection of airplanes, one of which's story was featured on the History Channel's "Dogfights."
Check out Corsair Artisan Distillery in downtown Fountain Square. Offering free tours and tastings from 10am to 6pm, their handcrafted small batch spirits and whiskey will give you a true appreciation for "Kentucky made".
Continue the enjoyment of Kentucky products with a drive to nearby Chaney's Dairy Barn for homemade soups, sandwiches and ice cream of course! Chaney's also offers farm tours, so if you want to learn about this cool Kentucky product climb on the hayride to the farm!
That evening is one of the best local events you won't want to miss! Aviation Heritage Park hosts their annual Hangar Party at the airport, and your group is sure to have a blast! Check out the details below.
Aviation Heritage Park Hangar Party
Join local non-profit organization Aviation Heritage Park for their annual event, a Hangar Party at the Bowling Green / Warren County Regional Airport! The event is an evening of fun, music, great food, aircraft and a silent auction.
The Hangar Party is Saturday, June 25. Gates open at 5pm, barbeque dinner starts at 6pm, live music and dancing at 8pm.
Tickets are $30 for adults and can be purchased as part of your group trip through NCM Admissions.
The ticket includes not only the BBQ buffet meal, but also beverages.
